NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING OF WRIA 59 WATERSHED PLANNING October 25th, 2018, 2- 4 p.m., Chewelah Municipal Center, Chewelah, WA WRIA 59 Watershed Planning-RCW 90.94: The WRIA 59 Watershed Planning/Water Resource Management Board has scheduled a meeting to update the public on the County ongoing activities related RCW 90.94, Domestic Exempt Well Use. The WRIA 59 watershed planning group will be holding its third public meeting on October 25,2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the Chewelah Municipal Center, 301 Clay Street, Chewelah, WA. This meeting will present the County's initial assessment of the future consumptive use estimates from permit exempt domestic growth over the next 20 years in the Colville River Watershed, and potential mitigation requirements set forth under RCW 90.9. Stevens County believes stakeholder input is an important part of the success of this Planning Process and we encourage water resource stakeholders to attend the meeting.
